    Our Story

In 1998 Peter Welker began his own personal insolvency and debt management business. When Peter began, his goal was to provide a personal and compassionate approach to helping people who were experiencing money problems. In 2006 Peter’s son Chris Welker took over his father’s business and founded Welker & Associates Inc.

Today Chris continues to offer the same high quality of service focused on helping individuals and families overcome their personal debt problems through affordable fee arrangements, flexible appointments and free initial consultations. Unlike most of their competitors, when you book an appointment with Welker & Associates Inc. you will meet with a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and not an estate administrator.

We feel that it is important for you to have your questions answered by the individual who will be responsible for your file. Since you will be meeting directly with a licensed trustee, your money problems will be dealt with more effectively and often in one meeting.

    Credit Counsellors

Our partner credit counselling agencies share our desire to help Ontario residents solve their money problems.

Only a Licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy can utilize the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act to solve your money problems by helping you to make a consumer proposal or file personal bankruptcy.

Accountants and tax professionals can help to insure that you file your returns correctly and on-time, pay the correct amounts, and manage your books and records.

    Financial Planners

Having a financial plan is important for everyone regardless of their financial situation, but it is even more critical for individuals who are trying to rebuild after making a consumer proposal or filing personal bankruptcy.

    Mortgage Brokers

Mortgage brokers have access to a variety of lenders, not just the big banks, with various lending requirements. This is especially important for individuals who can’t get approved by one of the big banks.

Realtors can provide an opinion of value for your property and assist with buying and selling real estate.
